It is said that all of these lanterns are crafted by hands of the artisans who make lanterns for most of Osaka cultural events. The belled lanterns of round and cylinder sitting neatly inside squares send an gentle and charming yellow light over the store, evoking the Tenjin Festival with long history of over 1000 years. One more special thing about these pretty decorations is the stylized image of cherry blossom painted on their cover. Then you will meet this image regularly inside Maidoya.

The products focus on specialities around Osaka, mainly on wine and beer, sauce and miso, some kind of spices, cookies, glassware and some other products of handcraft.
