Quick entry to Japan with new automatic gate
The Japan Ministry of Justice from November 1st have opened the automatic gate for visitors to Japan at immigrant inspection process at the first time. The visitors who frequently come or visited Japan for Business or Travel more than twice a year are eligible to use this gate. To receive the permission landing on Japan before, visitors have to pass many steps including submitting documents, interview or immigrant card application, from this moment you can quickly have an entry to Japan to a few seconds.
These automatic gates are now available at Narita, Haneda, Chubu, Kansai International Airport. For citizens in 67 countries who have a visa exemption to Japan or someone who have a visa for working in eligible companies or community organizations are available to use this gate also.
Submitting your passport and registration card into a special machine, taking a portrait photo and fingerprint, that's all for entry procurement. This new method will help to optimize the entry process and somehow express the warm welcome from Japan to visitors.
